Privacy
Pulse runs in your browser. Your taps, answers and scores are not sent anywhere.
Last updated: September 2026
The short version
- No account, no sign-in, no forms.
- Every score is calculated on your device and stays there.
- If you arrive through an advertising link, limited technical details are processed to measure traffic. Nothing that identifies you by name.
- Browser notifications are optional, and you stay in control of them.
- We don't sell personal information.
What stays on your device
All five challenges and every score are calculated locally by the page. There is no account, no sign-in and no form that collects personal details.
After you finish a run, Pulse saves one number, your best Pulse Score, in your browser's local storage so it can show it next time. It never leaves your device. Clear this site's data in your browser settings to remove it.
When you arrive from an advertising link
Some visitors reach Pulse through an ad. When that happens, the server records a visit so we can understand which ads bring people here and whether the page loads well. That record may include:
- the ad and source website identifiers passed in the link;
- your country, device type, operating system and browser, derived from the request;
- a one-way hashed fingerprint of your browser's user-agent string;
- a keyed hash of the network part of your IP address, never the full address;
- the time of the visit and a random visit identifier.
We don't use this data to identify you personally or to build a profile of you, and your game results are never part of it. If you open Pulse directly rather than through an ad, no visit record is created.
Optional notifications
On pages reached through an ad, a notification partner may ask whether you'd like to receive browser notifications. The request comes from your browser's own permission prompt, and you can allow or block it. Playing Pulse never requires notifications, and we never use fake buttons or tricks to get you to allow them.
If you allow notifications, the partner receives a notification subscription from your browser and a random visit identifier, and handles them under its own privacy policy. You can turn notifications off at any time in your browser's site settings.
Cookies and local storage
Pulse itself doesn't set cookies. It stores only the best-score entry described above. A notification partner's script may use your browser's storage to remember your notification choice. If your browser blocks storage, Pulse still works; it just won't remember your best score.
Hosting and fonts
Like any website, the server that delivers this page may keep standard technical logs, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. These logs are used to keep the site running and secure, and are kept only as long as needed for that purpose.
The page also loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which receives a normal font request from your browser. That request is covered by Google's privacy policy.
If you email us
If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write. We use it only to reply and to fix what you reported. We don't add you to a mailing list, and you can ask us to delete the conversation at any time.
Children
Pulse is a general-audience game and isn't directed at children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children, and the challenges have nothing for anyone to submit.
Your choices and rights
You control the best-score value on your device and your notification permission in your browser settings. Visit records don't contain your name, email or full IP address, so we usually can't link them to you. For emails you've sent us, or any other privacy request, write to us and we'll respond in line with the privacy laws that apply where you live.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, so the page you load can't be read or altered in transit. Your game results never leave your browser, so there is no stored game data for anyone to breach.
Changes to this policy
If we change how data is handled, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
